Materials of Construction: -A105N with T410 SS trim -Valve stem packing is solid PTFE bushing -Standard metallurgy is fine grain carbon steel, normalized per ASTM A105N
Options: -Flexible graphite stem packing -Trim heat treated per NACE (but not recommended for sour service or brine)
Why customers like Inferno gage valves… A Viton O-ring is provided in the vessel union for easier fit-up in the field. This can insure no leakage at the union providing angular misalignments are reasonable
The standard, most popular vessel connection is designed with a narrowed neck on the shank and an undercut in the union nut. The combination permits ± 1/8” movement of the shank around the face of the valve body in all directions. This translates into adjustability of C-C of ± 1/4”, one-third more than our nearest competitor
